The lotus flower (padma), represents the primordial purity of body, speech, and mind, floating above the muddy waters of attachment. The lotus symbolizes purity, renunciation. Although the lotus has its roots in the mud at the bottom of a pond, its flower lies immaculately above the water. The Buddhist lotus bloom has 4, 8, 16, 24, 32, 64, 100, or 1,000 petals. The same figures can refer to the body's 'internal lotuses', that is to say, its energy centres (chakra). Cloisonne Filigree course for beginners or intermediates that includes - Introduction to Tibetan Thangka art and Cloisonne Filigree craftsmanship - Demonstration of Cloisonne Filigree technique - Appreciation of Cloisonne Filigree Thangka works of Master Tsultrim Norbu - Learn to make your own Cloisonne Filigree Artwork (graphic draft provided by Master Tsultrim Norbu) - Learn cloisonne gradient colouring technique - Cloisonne pigment mineral glaze of your choice (subject to colour availability) Course fee: HK$3,600 (all materials, frame, instructional fee inclusive) Only HK$500 deposit to be paid at online booking, remaining balance to be settled after the first session) Class duration: 4 hours per session (overrun charges are waived for the first 30 minutes, HK$150 per hour after) Total class hours: 6 sessions / up to 24 hours (completion is required within 6 months, no refunds or rescheduling for incompletions) Size of artwork: 23cm (H) x 19cm (W) Only the first session is available for booking online, you can schedule remaining sessions with our staff representative via email at info@livinxperience.com or call at +852 3460 5180. You can also book the remaining sessions after your first session. You can reschedule a scheduled session one time 24 hours prior to the session appointment. The completed artwork requires drying overnight.
